Marina Lanfranconi specializes in intellectual and industrial property rights as well as in advertising law. As a result of her impressive background working for leading international firms both in Italy and abroad, she has earned extensive experience in judicial defense and extrajudicial assistance involving matters of industrial property rights as trademarks, patents, designs, unfair competition, information technology, and know-how.
Furthermore, she is continuously engaged in assisting Italian and international professionals in the fashion, design, communication and gaming sectors. She acquired her knowledge of industrial property through her university studies first at the State University of Milan, then a semester studying at Berkeley - Boalt School of Law, and later an LLM in IP Law from Kings College London.
She has participated as a speaker at conferences and seminars at the IED, the Politecnico of Milan, Altatex, the IAP and also is a regular lecturer with the Master of Fashion MAFED at Bocconi University. She has also contributed to various Italian and international journals as well as having participated in Italian and foreign associations such as BLACA, Indicam , Inta, Union IP, AIPPI and Fashion Law Group; She is a member of the Board of Directors of Indicam.
In 2016, she was awarded as "Lawyer of the Year - Design” at the IP & TMT Legal Community Awards 2016.
